PTLX “Far-Mar” Delivery 1974 replicates a substantial order of 300 cars leased to Far-Mar Co., an association of several regional grain cooperatives. These memorable orange and black scheme features a “FAR-MAR” placard centered on the car side, along with extensive stenciling –from the accurate PS stencil lettering all the way down to the Pullman patent numbers on the sill. All of the accurate details are present, including Morton running boards, Early Miner outlet gates, Truck mounted brakes, and that classic yellow-painted brake wheel. These cars went everywhere! We are offering them today ready-to-operate in 6 numbers.
