– Wisconsin Central (WC) “Ex-CRR FH19 Patch 1992+ V2” illustrates some of the several-hundred ex-Clinchfield Bethlehem hopper cars WC acquired from the CSXT in 1992.  These models feature a weathered-black body color along with various patches.  This WC Version 2 group of cars show off ex-Clinchfield cars that were patched and renumbered by CSX before being acquired by the WC.  Notice how the first three full panels have been fully patched out, and large yellow WC reporting marks added above the CSX six-digit numbers.  The models feature an accurate body for this ex-CRR FH19 series, including rounded top chord corner caps, paired lower posts at the side bolsters, and tiny accurate triangle supports on the bottom chord near the bolster posts.  The B-end of the model features an accurate Universal 7400 high handbrake, “modern” brake wheel and Morton-style brake step.  Inside, the models have a gorgeous (and removable!) flood-style coal load.  These coal cars roll on Tangent 100-ton Barber S-2 trucks with separate truck brake beams and rotating Brenco-6 caps.  We are pleased to offer 4 numbers in this WC scheme – and don’t forget that we have another WC scheme variant available.
