Undecorated RTR Unpainted Trinity 4750 Version 1 CSXT 1988-1989 continues our dedication to the modelers.  We get it—sometimes you just want to paint your own car.  We are modelers too, and we understand the need to continue to offer undecorated products without drama.  This car is completely assembled and unpainted!  It is based on the same car detail variations as our CSX 1988 factory-painted cars.  We call these cars “Version 1” Trinity Pullman-Design 4750s!  The cars have riveted end corner and side posts synonymous with the Pullman-built cars.  CSXT also specified that their 4750s have hazardous material placard holders on both sides and both ends of the car, which Tangent has included with their unpainted aluminum finish.  Up on the roof of the cars are unpainted galvanized “slope up” Morton-design running boards which also include end supports, and the galvanized steel trough hatches that Trinity built are replicated on our model.  On the ends of the cars, Trinity designed a weld line in the end sheet, angled defect card holders, straight-handle coupler lift bars, Universal 9200 brake housing, and a different brake pipe layout than the Pullman-built cars, all of which is accurately modeled on our Tangent replicas.  Underneath the cars, the centersill dividers have access holes in them like they should.  The train air line runs down the BR side of the car.  This model is ready for painting and lettering in a prototype or your own private road.

Undecorated RTR Unpainted Trinity 4750 Version 2 BN 1990 continues our dedication to the modelers.  We get it—sometimes you just want to paint your own car.  We are modelers too, and we understand the need to continue to offer undecorated products without drama.  This car is completely assembled and unpainted!  It is based on the same car detail variations as our BN 1990 factory-painted cars.  We call these cars “Version 2” Trinity Pullman-Design 4750s, and they are the first cars to branch away from the Pullman-design features – notably the changeover from riveted to welded exterior construction features at the side and end corner posts.  Additionally, these cars introduce the “bolt on” outlet gate design that was found on some of the Trinity 4750 prototypes.  The sides of the cars feature the “long version” of the jacking pads, as well as the lowered bolster height version of the jacking pad assembly.  Up on the roof of the cars are unpainted galvanized “slope up” Morton-design running boards which also include end supports, and the galvanized steel trough hatches that Trinity applied are replicated on our model.  Every railroad had different hatches, and BN is no exception, with multiple hatch types across orders – and within each order!  The ends of the cars include a new-design brake reservoir, an entirely new brake layout, center-tube brake adjustment line, Ellcon National D-5600 brake housing, angled defect card holder, and straight-handle coupler lift bars, all of which are accurately modeled on our Tangent replicas.  Underneath the cars, the centersill dividers have access holes in them like they should.  This model is ready for painting and lettering in a prototype or your own private road.

Undecorated RTR Trinity 4750 Unpainted Version 4 UP 1993 continues our dedication to the modelers.  We get it—sometimes you just want to paint your own car.  We are modelers too, and we understand the need to continue to offer undecorated products without drama.  This car is completely assembled and unpainted!  It is based on the same car detail variations as our UP 1993 factory-painted cars.  We call these cars “Version 4” Trinity Pullman-Design 4750s, and they continue with the Trinity variations found on earlier prototypes, notably the changeover in jacking pad design to one that is less long horizontally, and with an oval-shaped attachment hole in the center.  These Trinity 4750s include the “bolt on” outlet gate design that was found on some of the Trinity 4750 prototypes, however they do not include shaker brackets on the outlet bays!  Up on the roof of the cars you will find unpainted galvanized “slope up” US Morton-design running boards which also include end supports, and the galvanized steel trough hatches that Trinity applied are replicated on our model.  Every railroad had different hatches, and UP is no exception.  The ends of the cars include a truck-brake system design, Universal 9300 brake housing, tube-style defect card holder, and straight-handle coupler lift bars, all of which are accurately modeled on our Tangent replicas.  Underneath the cars, the centersill dividers have access holes in them like they should.  On the side of the cars, the UP requested AEI tag that was angled downward remains on the carbody.  This model is ready for painting and lettering in a prototype or your own private road.

Undecorated RTR Trinity 4750 Unpainted Version 4 BN 1994 continues our dedication to the modelers.  We get it—sometimes you just want to paint your own car.  We are modelers too, and we understand the need to continue to offer undecorated products without drama.  This car is completely assembled and unpainted!  It is based on the same car detail variations as our BN 1994 factory-painted cars.  These cars have a Phase 4 body and bolster arrangement, including the jacking pad design that is less long horizontally, and with an oval-shaped attachment hole in the center.  Additionally, these cars introduce the “bolt on” outlet gate design that was found on some of the Trinity 4750 prototypes.  Up on the roof of the cars is a carbody red painted galvanized “slope up” Morton-design running board, and the fiberglass trough hatches that BNSF applied are replicated on our model.  The ends of the cars include a body-mount brake system, Universal 9300DC brake housing, tube-style defect card holders, and straight-handle coupler lift bars, all of which are accurately modeled on our Tangent replicas.  Underneath the cars, the centersill dividers have access holes in them like they should, and a “angled style” AEI tag mount.  This model is ready for painting and lettering in a prototype or your own private road.
