SOLD OUT: Great Northern “Original Gray”

Description

Great Northern (GN) with the characteristic “PPG Carhide Hot Spray Gray” carbody color with large spelled out “Great Northern” and the distinctive “Rocky” herald.  These cars are offered in 12 individual road numbers, allowing the modeler to operate them in bulk service.  These cars operated throughout the GN system and points beyond, in various grain services, and remained in service for Burlington Northern nationwide into the early 1990s when they were all repainted into BN paint. One car received a “bandit” BN reporting marks and number paintout, photo found online.
