SOLD OUT: Chicago Great Western “Original Gray – 1st series”

Description

Chicago Great Western (CGW) in the characteristic gray “original paint” scheme with a beautifully replicated “Lucky Strike” CGW logo, produced by Pullman-Standard in March 1963 and accurately lettered.  Tangent now offers six car numbers from the first CGW production series.  Our models include the railroad-specific detail of pneumatic outlet gates, as well as the distinctive Pullman-applied “not for cement loading” lettering.  We offer six-packs of these former CGW cars, perfect to mimic their service in various grains and sand services during the CGW era as well as the CNW and UP eras.  These cars served UP after the CNW acquisition, lasting into the late 1990s in CGW paint, if not later.
