– Sacramento Northern (SN) “Delivery Gray 5-1959” continues the Pullman-gray tradition, but picks up the elegant Sacramento Northern stenciling found on the cars of the era.  The small data is Pullman-Standard stenciling styles.  The models feature a see-through Apex-style running board, “Early-style” round roof hatches, body-mounted brake gear and Enterprise gravity outlet gates.  The B-end of the car features all of the brake details and piping of the prototype, including a gorgeous Universal 7400 brake stand, Universal brake wheel, Apex-style brake step, high-mounted retainer valve, wire piping details and a finely executed air release rod poking through the bottom sill on each side of the carbody.  Metal corner stirrup steps and flexible rubber air hoses on each end of the car provide durability.  The model rides on Tangent’s brand-new 70-Ton ASF A-3 Ride Control Roller Bearing trucks with Timken rotating bearing caps.  How often do you get accurate Sacramento Northern models in HO scale?
