Description

Chicago & North Western (CNW) in the characteristic gray carbody color with a industry leading “ball and bar” on the carbody in black and white.  Like our offering of 6 CGW cars, our CNW cars are also offered in 6 individual road numbers.  Our models include the railroad-specific detail of pneumatic outlet gates.  These cars operated throughout the CNW system and points beyond, in various grain and malt services, as well as sand and other minerals.  These distinctive looking cars remained in service into the UP era and have been documented by roster shooters into the 2000s.
