Tangent Scale Models Inc. is pleased to announce that Dan Kohlberg is joining the company in the role of Director of Product Development. Dan will help drive new product development initiatives and help the company continue to innovate industry-leading products that push the boundaries of fidelity and value.
Dan joins the company in an official capacity following more than ten years working with Tangent Scale Models behind the scenes performing a variety of tasks on an ad-hoc basis. Most notably, Dan has been the primary artist for our industry-leading HO scale railcars, where he has led development of “Hyper-Accurate” lettering including exact fonts and lettering placement, where Tangent’s graphics lead the industry in realism and execution.
Dan has been an HO scale modeler since childhood, with specific interests in IC, GM&O, and post-merger ICG railroad equipment and operations. Dan will continue to own and operate ICG Decals independently from his responsibilities with Tangent.
